Study in Australia Group is seeking a skilled Graduate Accountant
Location:
Melbourne, Australia (hybrid)
Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including BAS/activity statements, bank reconciliation, credit notes, invoicing, accounts receivables, accounts payable, etc.
Utilize software such as Xero, Google Sheets, and Excel to perform necessary bookkeeping tasks
Utilize Excel skills including formatting, formulas, VLookup, Pivot, etc.
Communicate with stakeholders effectively in English, both written and spoken
Work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping
Apply if you have:
At least 1 year work experience in accounting or bookkeeping in Australia
Min. Australian Certificate IV in Accounting
High attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Xero, Google Suite including Google Sheets, Excel (with a minimum knowledge in formatting & formulas, VLookup, Pivot, etc.), Adobe PDF Reader
Experience with BAS/Activity Statements, Bank Reconciliation, Credit Notes, Invoicing, AR, AP, etc.
Good English skills, both written and verbal (German, French or Spanish language skills beneficial, but not required)
Experience in the education sector beneficial, but not required
Empathy and appreciate cultural differences
Experience dealing with stakeholders from different cultures

Student Visa (minimum 1-year visa)

Compensation:
Compensation will be based on the qualifications and professional experience of the applicants. However, please note that this is an entry level position. Compensation will be discussed during or after the job interview.
