Study in Australia Group is seeking a skilled Graduate Accountant



Melbourne, Australia (hybrid)



  • Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including BAS/activity statements, bank reconciliation, credit notes, invoicing, accounts receivables, accounts payable, etc.

  • Utilize software such as Xero, Google Sheets, and Excel to perform necessary bookkeeping tasks

  • Utilize Excel skills including formatting, formulas, VLookup, Pivot, etc.

  • Communicate with stakeholders effectively in English, both written and spoken

  • Work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping


Apply if you have:

  • At least 1 year work experience in accounting or bookkeeping in Australia

  • Min. Australian Certificate IV in Accounting

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in Xero, Google Suite including Google Sheets, Excel (with a minimum knowledge in formatting & formulas, VLookup, Pivot, etc.), Adobe PDF Reader

  • Experience with BAS/Activity Statements, Bank Reconciliation, Credit Notes, Invoicing, AR, AP, etc.

  • Good English skills, both written and verbal (German, French or Spanish language skills beneficial, but not required)

  • Experience in the education sector beneficial, but not required

  • Empathy and appreciate cultural differences

  • Experience dealing with stakeholders from different cultures
