ASSESSMENT
The assessment is an important part of your General English course. It tells your teachers how well you are doing and what they need to do to help develop your English. There are 3 main assessments.

When you first come to the college you will do a test that will tell the teachers the best level for you to begin. Then you may have a test every week (depending on the college you choose). This will keep you informed of your progress.

In the 4th week of the term, you will do a term test. The term test will cover speaking, listening, reading and writing. This test helps your school to determin if you are ready for the next level of study.

You should expect to spend up to 3 months at each level. However, most colleges have a flexible system so, if you learn quickly, you can progress in less time than that.
You will get a certificate at the end of your General English course.
