ROLE PURPOSE
The Student Recruitment Officer will provide exceptional counseling services to guide international students in finding the institution that best meets their learning and career aspirations. This includes providing students with information and advice on study opportunities, the local education system, culture, and geographic region, assisting with application documentation, facilitating enrolments, and promoting Study in Australia Group's products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Counselling
Counsel prospective students to identify appropriate study options including suitable courses and institutions.
Schedule and conduct phone or video call discussions and office meetings to accurately convey course information while ensuring each student's needs are met.
Prepare quotes and update client details in the CRM system.
Support students throughout the admissions, visa, and pre-departure processes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and their families.
Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in every interaction with students, stakeholders and colleagues.
Delivering Results
Deliver consistently outstanding service to ensure a high number of students are converted to the next stage of the student pipeline, ultimately submitting applications to education institutions and accepting the offers.
Identify opportunities to generate leads and effectively leverage these opportunities.
Utilise software such as Hubspot, Edvisor, Adobe pdf Reader, Adobe Sign, G-Suite, Word and Excel to perform necessary tasks.
Work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks and responsibilities.
Business Development
Maintain regular contact and activities with education providers, existing students and prospective students.
Attend education provider briefings, workshops and visits to institutions to support the development of knowledge of institutions and establish relationships with key contacts.
Respond to face-to-face enquiries, and enquiries via phone and email promptly, with accurate and relevant information.
Work closely with our Admissions Officer to process and submit applications to institutions, obtain offers, and facilitate enrolments in a timely manner.
Share social media posts.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both written and spoken.
Apply if you have:
At least 1 year work experience in sales, customer service, student counselling or tourism.
Completed a minimum of an apprenticeship in an administrative or sales occupation or a minimum of 2 years of business or marketing-related studies.
High attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
The ability to work independently and autonomously.
Assertiveness.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel (with knowledge in formatting and basic formulas), Adobe PDF Reader.
Confident English language skills and fluency in one of the following languages: German, Dutch, Czech, Polish, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Japanese, both written and verbal.
A sociable personality, empathy, and appreciation for cultural differences.
Experience dealing with stakeholders from different cultures.
Knowledge about Australia, New Zealand, USA or Dubai (travel, culture, employability, getting started as a foreigner in a new country).
Experience in travel & tourism, recruitment, customer service or sales is a plus.

Visa requirement:
You must hold an Australian visa with work rights such as
Student Visa (minimum 1-year visa)
Working Holiday Visa (min 6 months left)
Permanent Resident
Australian Citizen,
or other visas that allow you to work in Australia for min. 6 months
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on the qualifications and professional experience of the applicants. Compensation will be discussed during or after the job interview.
