Applications open for Victorian International Education Awards

The Victorian International Education Awards acknowledge international students who have demonstrated outstanding improvement and contributed to the Victorian and global community.

With the exception of the International Alumnus of the Year Award, each winner in the Student Category will receive a tuition fee scholarship of up to AUD$6,000 (Winner) and 2 other finalists (Finalists) will each be awarded a scholarship of up to $2,000 to support their studies at a Victorian education institution.

The Winner of the Premier’s Award for International Student of the Year will be awarded an additional tuition fee Scholarship of up to AUD$10,000 to support their studies at a Victorian education institution.

Applications are open to all international students who are currently enrolled with a Victorian tertiary education provider, including those students studying remote in their home country.

There are seven Student Awards that International Students enrolled in Victoria can apply for.

International Student of the Year - English Language Training
International Student of the Year - Higher Education
International Student of the Year - Research
International Student of the Year - Regional
International Student of the Year - Vocational Education and Training (VET)
International Student of the Year - Alumnus of the Year
International Student of the Year - Premier's Award

Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding improvement and contributed to the Victorian and global community. Please refer to the assessment criteria for details.
